The amazing Far North Coast crew have returned from the Strumit 2015 NSW SLS Championships and Mollymook has returned to its sleepy hollow self.

Our Cabarita Beach SLSC Carnival Team consisted of  20 parents, 26 kids and 5 extremely proud grandparents and what a great time we had.

Our surf life saving athletes both young and old performed brilliantly and that enthusiastic team spirit of the Mighty Caba Crew was alive and well. Everyone put in an amazing effort and ALL of our athletes achieved great results with all making it to semi finals or finals in their favorite events. How fantastic is that. Poppy Patience led the way on day 1 winning medals in the sprints and flags and Claudes who obviously could not wait for the sprints the next day evented in the Under 15 sprints and won silver. Day 2 was was the day for our Caba Beachies with all of them sprinting and flagging their hearts out. The awesome All Age Relay did a stunning job winning their heat but the competition was just a little too steep to see them medal. Everyone put in 200% in their individual sprints and relays and personally speaking I could not be prouder of anyone of this fantastic team. Cahrizma McDonald Cass won a gold in flags and silver in the U13 sprints, Sienna Lee won a brilliant gold in her flags and Claudia Crawford topped off her silver with a gold in the U14 sprints. But wait theres more…… Not to be outdone by the Nippers, our even Mightier Masters performed outstandingly. Congratulations to Poppy Patience, Maree Whitney and Latecia Gillard, Robbie Bryant and Ben Lee for great results.

Carnival Captain Les Patience congratulated all of his team on their fantastic efforts and sportsmanship and the Team thanks Les for all of his efforts as well.

Nippers this Sunday 8:45 roll call for a 9am start. Im sure everyone is looking forward to catching up.
