Well the season is under way and the enthusiasm at the TRAC last weekend was great to see. The pool proficiency had well over 200 people attend and the NIppers, some new, some old, began their season in flat water demonstarting to their age managers what they can do. Some age groups also participated in the water safety activities around the pool and lernt some basic rescue techniques and were introduced to POOL RESCUE. Pool rescue is a competition arm of the SLS Movement and has some quite unique and interesting events. Many age groups gave them a go.
Dont forget Nippers has its first beach session this Sunday 21st. Assemble in front of the Beach Hotel at around 8.45am for roll call. The Nippers and age managers will move on to the beach and our Junio Activity Coordinator Robyn Geeves will take the opportunity to talk to the parents about the upcoming season, fundraising events and ways YOu can help in and around our great little club as we "train tomorrows lifesavers today"
Dont forget if you could noty attend the pool proficiency that you will need to bring along a signed copy of  your son / daughters pool proficiency (U8's and up) before they will be allowed in the water. Also anyone who is yet to bring in a birth certificate to be cited can you do that this week.
