Cabarita to Mollymook is 1021km. Months of training, preparation, excitement all came down to just three days competition. The 6 under 12 competitors (the largest contingent from any age group) were primed and ready to go, bursting with enthusiasm on Friday morning. I am so proud of all the efforts and sportsmanship displaye on the beach by some of the nicest kids i have been associated with, it makes the long drive and hours of training all worth while to watch these kids give their all. This does not always translate into medals, but if they gave out medals for personal bests and pride in their club then these 6 and the rest of our clubs Mollymook team both juniors and seniors would all be deserving recipents of medals.
Below is a list of efforts and results we obtained over the three days at a picturesque Mollymook Beach. Pity the accomodation was not so picturesque!!!

Readers of this thread and my Caba Curl articles will be aware that this age group is continuing to improve and it is not too long before a water medal pops up. Good results in the ironman from all competitors show that it is just around the corner. Perhaps at Branch
