Weekly Wrap 4th May 2012

posted 10 May 2012, 21:14 by Admin at CabaSLSC
Hey Everyone,

Congratulations to Ryan Rigney on finally taking out the Member Draw last Sunday, I am sure $840.00 will come in quite handy.

Friday Night Poker starts tonight. Rego at 6pm for a 7pm start.  $10.00 a head, this is fun poker not APL, so everyone welcome!

Final call for Senior Preso tickets, they need to be paid for by Sunday so I can confirm catering on Monday.  We are also looking at putting on a bus on the big night at $5.00 per head return, servicing Pottsville, Hastings, Caba and Casuarina.  If we get enough numbers possibly Murbah as well but I need to know who would be interested.

Still on the subject of Preso Night, there is word that one of our Patrol Captains is finally fulfilling his cross dressing fantasies, I could tell you who but I don’t want to ruin the surprise, I am just not sure how he will get that sore toe into dainty little shoes.

Greenback, Greenback, Greenback, the roster is attached.  Please email me with when you can help out so I can add you to the Roster.  This is the Clubs major fundraiser of the year and it would be great to see some new faces helping out.  We have over 400 adult and teen Members, so lets fill up those spaces as soon as possible.  Many hands make light work.

More rumours out of the Gym! Not to be outdone and wanting to ensure that no Kiwi holds the rowing trophy aloft your trusty President has set the new target of 40:40 for the 10km row. The kiwi however claims that the so called trusty President had the resistance set on a much lower level. Let the games begin!

Lifesaving

Upcoming Bronze and SRC  Squad Introduction Night will be on Monday the 21st May from 6pm to 7pm at the Club.  Please show up or email any questions or your interest to Jo Howes training@cabaslsc.org.au   Any Juniors who are now 13 can complete their SRC in this Course instead of waiting for the Nipper season to begin.
