Hey Everyone, Hope you are having a good week and managing to stay a little dry, it is all feeling a little like groundhog day here at the Club, rain, rain and more rain. However, this week we are not going to let it put us off and we will be running our “summer” BBQ on the deck this afternoon. There is no wind, so its still quite pleasant up here. Hope you can make it. Whilst there are a lot of blue bottles on the beach at the moment, I was very surprised to hear that our Radio Captain Keith was stung during the week, and in quite an interesting spot! Whilst giving the tractor a good run along the beach, he hit a patch of blue bottles that were flung up by the tyres and landed in his lap, right around the groin area. Whilst Keith is a seasoned Lifesaver with many years service and pretty tough, he did say that he wasn’t as immune to the pain in that area as in others. This does help the ongoing argument of why boardies are more appropriate than dickies! Nipper News Nippers this Sunday on the grassed area for 8.45am roll call for a 9am start.
