Weekly Wrap 25th November 2011

posted 24 Nov 2011, 21:39 by Admin at CabaSLSC

Hey Everyone,

Welcome again to our our new Bronze Members and Surf Rescue Certificate  Members, it is great to see such a large group, we look forward to seeing you all in and around the Club.

We are looking forward to a great night here at the Club tomorrow to celebrate the "50th" Anniversary of Patrols.  This is a wonderful achievement and we would like to thank everyone who has helped in organising this event, in particular Rosemary Fisher and Liz Baker who have been working tirelessly gathering information from the past 50 years.

A huge thank you to everyone that made our Junior Carnival such a success last Sunday, the feedback that we have received has been amazing.  Congratulations to all the Competitors, Age Managers, Officials and parents for doing Caba proud!  The atmosphere and enthusiasm from everyone was contagious.

Speaking of contagious, it seems that our younger Senior Members have all got the board paddling bug at the moment, it has been great to see them all out there honing their skills this week.  There is even talk of a certain return to competition by Miss Raftery and Miss Sommerville.  I have also received an anonymous tip from a Member of the public that there was two hot chicks actually surfing the rescue boards.  We all know Hannah and Jaime would never do this as it is against Surf Life Saving Policy, so who could these mysterious Members be?

Missing in action, one Kyle Beattie and Troy Draman, last spotted shirtless  and cruising for chicks up at schoolies!  If anyone spots them please send them south!
