Weekly Wrap 16th October 2013

posted 15 Oct 2013, 21:20 by Admin at CabaSLSC   [ updated 15 Oct 2013, 21:20 ]

Hey Everyone,

I hope you are all settling into the upcoming season nicely.  It has been a really busy time here at the Club with lots of new and returning Members.  There are still a lot of Gym Members that have not yet renewed and Locker Hire Renewals not yet paid.  Remember we have a limited amount of spaces for both of these, so make sure you don’t lose your spot.

The Nippers have so much going on as you will see below in Jodies report, so it is really important that the Parents, check their emails, the website and the calendar so they don’t miss anything.  I have attached a Flyer for our upcoming Halloween Night. This has always been a huge success in the past, so we hope you can get down the Club on Friday the 25th October and enjoy a fun family night.

Congratulations to patrolling Member Fletcher Budd and not for being able to hold a rescue board with no hands (see the Facebook page) but for being accepted to join other Members aged 18 -25 at the upcoming Development Network Program run by SLSNSW.  This is an awesome opportunity for Fletch and we know he will do Caba proud.

Another congratulations to our Lifesaving Director Kyle Beattie who has been chosen to to sit on the State Youth Panel for this season, I have no doubt he will do an awesome job in this role, I just hope State don’t snap him up and run off with him as he does such a brilliant job here.

I must take this opportunity to wish Patrolling Member, Age Manager and my husband Dave a Happy 21 Wedding Anniversary for tomorrow, he always says I forget, so I am proving him wrong. xx

Thats it from me, see you on the beach. Kez
