Weekly Wrap 10th August

posted 15 Aug 2012, 19:31 by Admin at CabaSLSC
Hey Everyone,

The latest edition of the Caba Curl is available for viewing.  Unfortunately our brilliant editor Alison will no longer be available to do the Caba Curl from the next edition.   Therefore, we are looking for someone who would like to volunteer to throw together the articles and ads into the published format for us each month.  Alison is happy to help you over the next edition, so if you are interested, please email me.

With olympic fever in the air and the aussies doing so well in the kayaking, it seems to have inspired our Lifesaving Director Kyle and IRB Assistant Fletch to take to the water in similar craft.  So with very little or no swell out there yesterday, they sourced the paddles from the creek and headed out.  In true Kyle and Fletch fashion, they tested the surf skis ability to tip over not only from the left but also from the right, I am pretty sure I even seen them tip over from the nose!  Their quality testing was so thorough, that they just kept tipping over and over.   I doubt that we will see them in Rio in a K2 as we all know that they are more comfortable in sequined lycra, so probably be more suited to the Rythmic Gymnastics. Go boys ;)
